Reverend Jim and his wife Terry
I asked Jesus into my life on December of 1979.
My wife was driving the car and I had been reading the word, we had just come from a party. As my wife drove us home that night, I was drunk and high on weed and that is when it came to me to ask God into my life. I said “God if you want me here I am, take me.” Then Terry leaned over and told me to ask the Holy Spirit to come in and fill me with His spirit, I asked and He did.
The next day I felt I was walking three feet off the floor and there was peace in and around me, as I had never known. That Sunday I went to church. I was attending Living Stones Church in Alvin, TX at the time. As the Pastor Al Jandl finished the message he said the Lord told him there was some one in here that had accepted salvation this weekend, speaking in a unknown tongue and was wondering what had happen and needs to come up for prayer. I did and as soon as I stood in front of him, he said it was I. He talked of what had happened to me and told me what I needed to do. (livingstoneschurch.org)
Let me say something now about my education. I was in special education for most of my school years. The school system said I had an I.Q. of 75. All I had to do was to show up and I would be passed on. I could not read but on a first grade level, at the age of 24 I could not read. So when I say I was reading the word I was just learning to read and I believed every word it said as I do to this day. Terry and I would lie in bed and read the word. She would read a sentence and then I would read it back to her. That is how I learned to read.
Now to this day I will preach the word of my Father to the entire world. It does not matter where we are, God is there, on the street or a doctor’s office the word is the word. Amen.
Terry and I are currently traveling across the country ministering God’s word with signs and wonders ahead.
